Bills troll Patriots, sell inflating pumps
By Mike Dyce
The Buffalo Bills are trolling the New England Patriots by selling inflating pumps at their store ahead of this weekend’s game.
The New England Patriots and the Buffalo Bills are squaring off this weekend in an AFC East rivalry match-up. This rivalry has a new little wrinkle since the Bills hired former New York Jets head coach and Bill Belichick antagonizer Rex Ryan.
And the shots being fired at the Patriots are coming from all over the organization. At the Bills’ store there is an interesting new item sitting front and center.
That’s right, the Bills are selling inflating pumps to troll the Patriots in the wake of the Deflategate scandal. Just when you thought Deflategate and all the subsequent inflation jokes were behind you, the Bills bust out another to troll New England.
Surely no one is buying this and thinking of bringing it to a game to taunt the Patriots right? The store has to be planning on taking a hit on this merchandise.
What they should’ve done was make inflatable pump foam heads, like the Chicago Bears fans who wear foam cheese graters on their heads to taunt Packers fans. That I could get behind.
