This week we’ll get the showdown between the Miami Hurricanes and Florida State Seminoles, so how much is FSU favored by?

In Week Six of the college football season, we’ll be getting a game that most of the country looks forward to no matter what. Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. ET, the Hurricanes will make the trip to Tallahassee, and with the way things have started for both teams and considering the venue, you know the ‘Noles are going to be the betting favorite coming in.

So, by just how much are the Seminoles favored by over the Hurricanes on Saturday night?

Well, Vegas sees enough in both teams to make Florida State more than a touchdown favorite in this one.

Florida State comes into this year’s showdown with a 4-0 record on the year, although they have not looked all that impressive. While they’ve been solid on the defensive side of the ball, the offense seems to be continuing to try and click with Everett Golson under center. Just this past Saturday, they struggled with Wake Forest on the road, which didn’t really do them any favors in the eyes of many.

However, for as bad as some may think Florida State has looked, Miami has looked a little worse. They got off to a 3-0 start to the year, but it wasn’t in impressive fashion. Then, this past Thursday night, everything came crashing down as they suffered their first loss of the year, on the road against Cincinnati. That loss made even more people call for the firing of Al Golden, but a win this Saturday night might go a long way in changing their minds.

This really isn’t the powerhouse showdown that we used to look forward to every season, but this is still a match up between two bitter rivals that you do not want to miss.
