Nick Saban let the media know how he felt on Monday, just a few days after he and Alabama really took it to Georgia

After the Alabama Crimson Tide lost to the Ole Miss Rebels a few weeks ago, a lot of us were ready to write off the Tide and their season as being finished. Then, this past Saturday, we were reminded that this might still be one of the best teams in the country when they went into Athens and really put the boots to the Georgia Bulldogs.

But, back to that whole point about Alabama’s season being over and done with. Well, apparently that was something that did not sit well with head coach Nick Saban, so he let everyone know about it.

On Monday during his weekly press conference, he made sure to lash out at the media for the way his team was perceived going into this game against Georgia, a game in which many people thought they might not only lose, but get embarrassed.

“It’s not going to be for you!” he said, directing his response to the media. “The fans, yes. Because if it was up to you, we’re 6 feet under already. We’re dead and buried and gone! Gone!”

Whether you like the man or not, we all have to take a step back and admit that he kind of has a point here. When they were beaten by Ole Miss despite a valiant comeback effort, everyone was ready to pile with cries of the dynasty being over. Those people were delivered a wake-up call on Saturday.
