There’s a Steve Bartman look-alike at PNC Park to curse the Cubs (Photo)

The Chicago Cubs are playing the NL Wild Card Game in Pittsburgh, but Steve Bartman and his curse followed them — maybe.
For the first time in over a decade, the Chicago Cubs have a solid chance to win the World Series. They need to get past the Pittsburgh Pirates in order to make that happen, but it’s the first time since 2003 that fans on the North Side of Chicago have been this excited about the team’s prospects of winning the World Series.
Of course, the most notable thing about that 2003 season was the fact that Steve Bartman screwed it all up for the team and is forever associated with cursing the franchise for the following ten years.
The curse might be broken, it might be over — who knows.
All we do know is that Steve Bartman trolls are the easiest trolls to roll out, and a dead ringer was spotted at PNC Park on Wednesday night to do his service to the Bucs.
We shouldn’t have expected anything less from the Pirates, as this is the biggest game of the season for the Bucs. Then again, it’s the biggest game of the last decade for the Cubs and the last time they had anything remotely close to a good chance at winning a World Series, Bartman was there to screw everything up for them.
Pittsburgh needs to beat the Cubs on the diamond, but having a little Steve barman troll juice on your side is never a bad thing.
