Utah fans brought the thunder with their signs from College GameDay Week 6.

On a day where Texas was playing Oklahoma and Miami was on the road facing Florida State, ESPN’s traveling band of merry men and women decided to broadcast College GameDay live from Salt Lake City. With the undefeated Cal Bears taking on the Utah Utes, quite possibly the best team in the nation, it was a fine choice indeed.

Utah opened up the season with an impressive victory over Michigan (one that looks better each week, with UM’s spate of strong showings). And while games against Utah State and Fresno State were relative walkovers, the 62-20 pasting of Oregon at Autzen Stadium really put the Utes on the map. The team was spelled a letdown game, as they were afforded a bye week following the Oregon beatdown.

On the other side of the ball is Cal. The Bears have one of the best offenses in the game, and Jared Goff is a dark horse Heisman Trophy candidate. It should be a banner day of Pac-12 football.

It was an early morning call for College GameDay, but students and fans came out in force. The sign game was on point, and really people probably never went to bed. From class to the bars to the GameDay field. Here’s a look at the best of the best from Saturday’s Week 6 in Salt Lake City.
