The Cincinnati Bengals ran a nifty reverse play, which led to a key 25-yard touchdown run by Mohamed Sanu against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football.

Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton took the snap and handed off to running back Giovanni Bernard, who sprinted right and gave the ball to the cutting wide receiver. With Dalton as his leading blocker, Sanu ran across the field for the reverse and went into the end zone untouched. Sanu’s touchdown put the Bengals ahead of the pesky Browns, 24-10.

Here is Sanu’s impressive touchdown run that put the Bengals up 14 points.

Sanu’s touchdown completed a 91-yard touchdown drive that lasted 4 minutes and 31 seconds.

Earlier in the drive, Dalton connected with wide receiver Brandon Tate for what was first ruled a 22-yard gain. However, Tate stumbled as he caught the ball and appeared to be down by contact. Browns head coach Mike Pettine challenged the play and the call was reversed, giving Tate only a 4-yard gain.

A few plays later, the Bengals converted on third and two after Dalton connected with wide receiver Marvin Jones on a 25-yard pass to reward the team with a new set of downs.

This was the first touchdown of the season for Sanu, who still is without a receiving touchdown on the year. Sanu entered the game with only 270 receiving yards with 18 receptions and 14 rushing yards on two attempts.

Dalton is having one of the best seasons of his career. He entered the game with 15 touchdowns and will most likely surpass his 2014 total by the end of the season.
