Kobe Bryant is listed as questionable for Wednesdays game against the Orlando Magic with a sore back.

Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers have gotten off to a rough start to the season. The Lakers are 1-6 coming into Wednesdays game against the Magic and Bryant is struggling with his shot, as he is shooting just 32 percent from the floor.

His shooting woes are most likely a result of the back issues that he is currently dealing with. Kobe sat out Tuesday nights game against the Heat with a sore back, and will most likely not play against the Magic because of the same reason.

There is no point for Kobe to play unless he is 100 percent healthy.

The Lakers aren’t contending for anything this season, so Kobe shouldn’t force himself to play when it is not necessary. He is however one of the greatest competitors this game as ever seen and it will be tough to convince him not to go out and play the sport that he loves to play.

Kobe hinted last week that this could be his final year in the NBA. It is unfortunate that his last season might be an injury riddled one, but hopefully with some rest, he can come back relatively soon and play.
