Kristaps Porzingis will Dream Shake anyone and everyone in his path

The New York Knicks have found their savior and his name is Kristaps Porzingis. The Latvian rookie has been a revelation as of late in terms of production and highlights after already garnering buzz from his putback dunks early in the season. Now, he’s looking like an unstoppable force for the Knicks who’s unleashing the fury at every turn.

Porzingis hasn’t been discriminatory as to whom he’s been dominating; if you are on the court with him, you’re in danger. So against the Miami Heat on Monday night, it was Luol Deng tasked with guarding him on one possession. Against the Knicks’ rookie sensation, the veteran Deng was no match as Porzingis hit the Dream Shake and left Deng in the dust:

There’s obviously a lot of hyperbole surrounding the Knicks rookie because of the buzz he’s generating, but there’s no denying that the young Latvian forward is incredibly skilled. He plays with a fire and aggressiveness as well that’s exceedingly rare for players with his lack of experience and at his age. If he keeps that fire and continues developing his already apparent skill, it’s not hyperbole to say that New York has their next superstar on their hands.
