Kristaps Porzingis was having none of Victor Oladipo trying to dunk in his house

The legend of New York Knicks rookie forward Kristaps Porzingis only gets grander with each passing day. He’s the player that can throw down any putback dunk, the player that can Dream Shake any opponent, and on Wednesday against the Orlando Magic that he will turn away any players who try to dunk on the goal he’s defending.

Magic guard Victor Oladipo was driving on the baseline in the fourth quarter and tried to cap off the night for Orlando with a highlight dunk. Unfortunately for the springy young guard, Porzingis was holding down the paint for the Knicks and met Oladipo ahead of the rim with both hands to deny him with a monster block:

The fact that Porzingis goes up like he’s trying to avoid a foul by using verticality and still manages to absolutely stuff Oladipo is incredible. Porzingis legitimately might ascend to the throne of Mount Olympus here soon as the newest addition to the mythological gods.

Speaking with less exaggeration, Porzingis is continually impressing over the start of his rookie season. On both ends of the floor, the 20-year-old Latvian just has an incredible feel for the game and knows how to use his length and surprisingly fluidity to his advantage. As he keeps growing in this league and in New York, the prospect of how good he could possibly be is truly staggering.
