Mo Williams smoothly knocked down a three-quarter-court buzzer-beater at the end of the third quarter in Toronto

The Cleveland Cavaliers fell behind the Toronto Raptors in the third quarter of their matchup on Wednesday night and needed a boost from their role players. With time winding down in the third period and the Cavs down by five points, veteran point guard Mo Williams gave the Cavs the boost they needed in the most improbable of ways.

Williams got an outlet pass with just seconds left on the clock. He pushed the ball up on the floor as fast as he could before having to pull up with a gliding three-quarter-court shot. He made it look all too easy as the buzzer-beater hit nothing but net to cut the Raptors’ lead to two points going into the final frame:

Let’s ask the Raptors mascot how he felt about that buzzer-beater from Williams:

I’m sure most of Toronto shares the Raptor’s sentiment.

Not only was that shot from Williams just incredible in its own right because of the ease that he made it with, but it was also huge for the Cavs in trying to pick up a big win over an Eastern Conference foe. There’s nothing quite like knocking down a shot that has no business going in to swing the momentum of a game.
