After being wounded by gunfire, St. Louis Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey is reportedly out of surgery.


All thoughts in the NFL right now, are with St. Louis Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey. Bailey was reportedly shot in the head Tuesday night in South Florida.

Stedman was said to be in critical but stable condition, and he would go through extensive surgery on Wednesday. According to Ian Rapoport, Bailey went through extensive surgery that required several hours of work and is now out of the surgery. He will also be in the ICU over the next week.

While the situation with Bailey is still at a very critical and serious point, it’s relieving to know that he was able to make it through his surgery well. Being in ICU, he will be constantly monitored and will be fully attended to.

The incident late in the night on Tuesday, came as a massive shock to everyone and really put into perspective just how much bigger life really is. Countless players came out and showed their support for their brethren who had been wounded by the gunfire and it showed just how much everyone in the league really cares for each other.

Everyone is hoping for good news with Bailey, and right now it’s good news that he made it through surgery in what is a critical time.
