Eddie Lacy found the end zone for the Green Bay Packers.

On Thanksgiving night, the Packers have taken a 7-0 lead at Lambeau Field over the Chicago Bears courtesy of a 25-yard touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers to running back Eddie Lacy.

Lacy has had a tough season in his third campaign, enduring a short-lived benching by head coach Mike McCarthy in favor of James Starks. The reasoning was that Starks had a nice stretch, coupled with Lacy beginning to get out of shape. At this point, Lacy is almost the size of some of the men blocking for him.

Still, Lacy is an explosive player and almost impossible to bring down when he gets a full head of steam. Lacy has been a force so far on this holiday evening, rushing for 48 yards while catching another three passes for 34 yards.

At 7-3, the Packers are tied for first place in the NFC North with the Minnesota Vikings. Green Bay technically holds the tiebreaker after beating Minnesota at TCF Bank Stadium last Sunday, earning the upset win. The Packers are hoping to perhaps earn a BYE week in the NFC playoffs, although that could be an uphill battle.
