Tony Romo will learn his fate for the rest of the season on Friday when he undergoes his tests

As if things simply weren’t bad enough for the Dallas Cowboys this season, Thanksgiving happened. On Thursday, the Cowboys played host to the Carolina Panthers for their annual Turkey Day game, and in the second half of this one, Tony Romo was sacked and injured his left clavicle. Last week Romo returned from the same injury that he suffered back in Week 2, and now he appears to be in the same boat.

However, while you can speculate all you want, his status won’t be known for certain until he gets checked out and undergoes some tests. After the Cowboys’ loss to the Panthers on Thursday, we found out that Romo will be getting looked at immediately on Friday.

While the Cowboys, and maybe even Romo himself, will try to make the prognosis optimistic, the fact of the matter is that these tests will more than likely reveal that the Cowboys signal caller is done for the season. There were people who believed that he maybe should not have come back in the first place last week, and now it seems as if that might have been the best option all along.

Whatever the case, we’re going to find out on Friday what Romo’s future holds.
