Chicago Bulls vs Indiana Pacers

For the first time in recent memory, the Eastern Conference is the more competitive of the two, from top to bottom. The Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers will be facing off while lobbing for the second place position in the conference standings.

Despite injuries to Derrick Rose — something that seems to happen every few games now — the Bulls have been one of the most impressive teams in the conference and even giving an undefeated Golden State Warriors team a tough battle last week. The former MVP is still playing well, but is nowhere near his former elite level of play, averaging 13.9 points and 6.0 assists for the second-place Bulls.

Jimmy Butler, on the other hand, is on another level. The young guard is approaching superstar status and is the clear top player on the Bulls right now, leading the team in scoring and just looking like the best all-around player at all times.

As for the Pacers, Paul George is back. Everyone remembers his gruesome broken leg injury that really caught the rest of the league by surprise and had everyone in his corner, rooting for him to get better. Now that he’s back to full strength, it’s clear that he’s still a superstar, averaging 25.9 points, 8.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game for the 9-5 Pacers who are in third place in the East.
