Kyle Long rips a troll on Twitter by going with the classic ‘your mom’ response, when the troll criticized Long’s father, Howie Long and his employer, Fox.

Kyle Long’s Chicago Bears pulled off a road upset over arch nemesis Green Bay on Thanksgiving Day. Long is supposedly one of the few franchise pieces head coach John Fox and offensive coordinator Adam Gase have to work with.

However, when a Twitter troll decided to make a wise-crack at the Bears’ franchise left tackle and his father’s employer Fox simultaneously, not only did Kyle Long respond, but he did so in a old-school ‘your mom’ style.

Kyle Long’s older brother Chris Long, defensive end for the St. Louis Rams, found his younger brother’s response most appropriate. Of course Chris is his brother’s biggest fan so long as the Bears and Rams don’t play each other.

From a football clan whose patriarch once starred in the cinematic classic Firestorm, why would Kyle Long’s response to this Twitter troll be anything less than a ‘your mom’ jab. Since the Long men have become staples with three NFL franchises (Raiders, Rams, and now Bears), it’s not all that farfetched that this troll’s mom could be a ‘cheerleader’ of one of the Long’s teams. 3/32 isn’t all that bad of odds.

Overall, Kyle Long had a spectacular Thanksgiving. His Chicago Bears beat the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau in primetime on NBC to move to 5-6 on the year. Chicago is only two games back of Green Bay in the division and very much in the NFC Wild Card mix. To defeat a Twitter troll with a ‘your mom’ joke and to have his older brother who also plays in the NFL support him, now that’s a special Thanksgiving for the Long household.
