Looking at Lee Corso’s headgear pick from College GameDay in Stillwater for Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.

Coach Lee Corso has officially gone off the rails. If this happens to be his final season on College GameDay (hopefully the football gods allow us more years of this goodness, but you never know) then he will have flamed out in a most spectacular fashion.

Three times – THREE! – Coach has been tasked with picking a game that involved the Michigan State Spartans. Here’s how everything played out.

Game: Oregon vs Michigan State
Pick: Oregon Ducks
Result: Michigan State wins, 31-28

Game: Michigan State vs Michigan
Pick: Michigan Wolverines
Result: Michigan State wins, 27-23

Game: Michigan State vs Ohio State
Pick: Ohio State Buckeyes
Result: Michigan State wins, 17-14

Yup, that’s three games, 10 points total differential, all picks against Sparty, all Michigan State wins. Coach has kept repeating the same mistake over and over and over again … insanity.

So here we are, rivalry week with Coach trying to break another L, this time at Bedlam.

On one side we have the Oklahoma Sooners. A win would give Oklahoma the Big 12 title and likely cement their spot in the College Football Playoff.

And on the other sideline we have the Oklahoma State Cowboys. The Pokes were rolling along for the majority of this season until being upended by the Baylor Bears last week. Now, thanks to another Baylor loss, it’s highly likely that Mike Gundy’s men will be playing spoiler – with the most outside of chances to hit the CFP.

Who did Coach Lee Corso decide to go with: the Sooner Schooner or the big guns of Pistol Pete? The answer, of course, was the Oklahoma State Cowboys. And the College GameDay crowd went bonkers …
