The Kansas City Chiefs topped the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

Kansas City was able to win its fifth straight game, beating Buffalo 30-22 on Sunday afternoon at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs moved to 6-5, something that seemed improbable only six weeks ago. Buffalo has fallen to 5-6, dropping its second consecutive contest and pushing itself to the brink.

The Chiefs did sustain ample injuries, with offensive linemen Mitch Morse, Jeff Allen and Eric Fisher leaving. Allen was able to return. However, Kansas City did lose superstar pass-rusher Justin Houston in the first half, when his knee bent awkwardly. He was not able to return but the extent of his injury is unknown.

Highlights

Three Stars

1. Sammy Watkins

Watkins was unbelievable throughout the first half of the game, catching six passes for 158 yards and two touchdowns. The second-year star out of the University of Clemson was nothing short of sensational, but did disappear in the second half. Watkins was held without a catch in the final 30 minutes.

2. Jeremy Maclin

Not to be outdone by the young gun, Maclin had his finest day as a Chief. Coming over on a five-year, $55 million deal, Maclin showed why on Sunday with nine catches and 160 yards, including his 41-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Msaclin was the spark that Kansas City needed to overtake Buffalo.

3. Spencer Ware

Ware started the season as the fourth-string running back for the Chiefs, but he has become one of the focal points. Ware ran for 114 yards on 19 carries, along with scoring a touchdown in the second quarter.

Odds

Kansas City was favored by seven points over the Bills and covered the spread.
