Blake Bortles forgot how to play football (Video)

The Jacksonville Jaguars are hoping Blake Bortles is the future, but he needs to remember how to play football first. 

When the Jacksonville Jaguars reached to draft Blake Bortles two years ago, it was believed that he would finally be the answer as a franchise quarterback. So far, that hasn’t happened and the Jaguars have watched the former No. 3 overall pick attempt to figure out how football works more than they’ve watched him succeed at the game.

We saw another example of that on Sunday afternoon when Bortles flat out forgot how to play football.

Bortles completed the touchdown pass — but he forgot that you’re not supposed to throw beyond the line of scrimmage.

Let’s break that down a little:

The touchdown obviously didn’t count and this isn’t something that Bortles is going to be hanging his hat on. Then again, this is pretty much how the Borltes era in Jacksonville has gone as there has been some positive progress made that is quickly cancelled out by the negative.

All six of the Jaguars fans are most likely irate at the moment, but everything will get better when the team eventually moves from the swamp. Just don’t tell Bortles to head up that project, it won’t end well.
