The Cincinnati Bengals are crushing the St. Louis Rams at Paul Brown Stadium, but they might have sustained a critical loss on Sunday afternoon. After catching his 12th touchdown pass of the season, tight end Tyler Eifert was forced to leave the field with a stinger, per John Clayton of ESPN.

Eifert has arguably been the best tight end in the league this season. The former first-round pick of the University of Notre Dame is showcasing his elite mix of size and speed, going for 43 catches for 482 yards and 11 touchdowns coming into the contest.

Andy Dalton has been terrific this season, finally getting some of the Cincinnati fans off his back. Dalton has been able to use a bevy of weapons at his disposal, including wide receivers A.J. Green and Marvin Jones, and running backs Giovani Bernard and Jeremy Hill.

Cincinnati is currently leading the AFC North by two games over the Pittsburgh Steelers, holding an 8-2 mark. Should the Bengals be able to beat the St. Louis Rams, it will move to 9-2 and clinch a fifth consecutive winning season. The Bengals are looking at a BYE week, something the team has not earned since the days of Boomer Esiason.
