Shannon Sharpe is dealing with Patriots fans on Twitter the best way he knows how — with “your mom” jokes

On Sunday night, the undefeated season of the New England Patriots came to an end, and it came to an end at the hands of the Denver Broncos. Of course, there are many Broncos fans out there who are very much reveling in the win, and that does include former Broncos players. You know, like one of the greatest tight ends of all time, Shannon Sharpe.

Well, of course Sharpe is taking this all in, as you’d expect he would. But, at the same time, you also know that Patriots fans are going to come right back at him on social media. That’s how things work these days.

So, how is Sharpe dealing with the backlash? Well, of course, with a bunch of “your mom” jokes.

"Your mom was my English teacher. Remember those nites she came hm late?"

"3 and you? Well 2 now since I gave one to mom to pay her mobile hm off."

"Your biological dad."

"How is your wife and my kids doing?"

Well, I mean, that’s certainly one way to go about things. Is it the right way? No, probably not here in the year 2015, but after what happened on Sunday night, Broncos fans and former players can more or less pull whatever trolling rabbit out of the hat that they want when it comes to Patriots fans.

If the Broncos win the Super Bowl, hopefully Sharpe can get some new material ready, though.
