San Antonio Spurs vs Chicago Bulls

Every year, you can expect a couple of things: Tim Duncan will be as reliable as any big man in the NBA and the San Antonio Spurs will be near the top of the Western Conference standings. This year is no different as the Spurs are in second place at 14-3.

The Spurs have yet to lose a game at home but are looking to really get going on the road as they’re just 5-3. Although Duncan is still a serviceable big man, Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge are the leading scorers of the team and likely the future. San Antonio will look to test its strength against one of the Eastern Conference’s best teams, the Chicago Bulls.

Chicago is the only team in the East’s top-seven that has less than 10 wins on the year, sitting at 9-5. The Bulls look like a contender to knock the Cleveland Cavaliers off the pedestal in the East and even though Derrick Rose isn’t quite what he used to be, he’s still been a solid contributor.

Jimmy Butler has been the real star of the team as he’s averaging 20.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. Could he be taking the reigns from Rose? This will definitely be a telling game for the young guard.
