Bill Belichick is known for being short and rude with the media, and nothing was different about that on Wednesday.

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has had a rocky relationship with the media all throughout his coaching career. I’m going to go out on a limb and assume that it’s the worst-favorite part of his job. Unfortunately for him, it’s a requirement, and something he–and the media–has to trudge through several times a year.

Both parties have to do their job, and as of late, the media has wanted to know what is going on with Rob Gronkowski and his injury. Apparently asking about this really gets on Bill’s nerves, though.

When one reporter brought him up, Belichick said, “just trying to do everything we can to help you out,” in the most Belichick-like voice ever. He continued, saying, “sorry if you’re offended by that. Just trying to be cooperative… If that’s a problem just let me know.”

“We did what we did” was the final answer the reporter got from Bill, and he directed the reporter to the team’s public relations department.

This press conference was exactly what we should have expected from Bill. One can only imagine what he’s going to be like once the playoffs roll around.
