With the St. Louis Rams short at the cornerback spot, the team is looking at recently released Cary Williams.

The St. Louis Rams have had a lot of injuries in their secondary this season, that they’re desperate for someone to come in and play cornerback for them. Part of it is their own fault, as Janoris Jenkins suffered from two big hits at the hands of his own teammates going for knockout shots on receivers this past Sunday.

With the Rams desperate for help at the cornerback spot, the team is looking at a recently released cornerback for help. According to Jim Thomas, the Rams are talking to veteran cornerback Cary Williams.

Williams was just cut on Monday by the Seattle Seahawks, and anyone that has watched him the past couple of years, including his time with the ehttps://fansided.com/tag/philadephia-eagles, knows that he is an absolute liability on the field and a likely candidate to get burnt for a touchdown, no matter who matches up on him.

That’s how desperate the Rams are at the cornerback spot right now. At 4-8, the Rams are playing for their jobs and pride. There’s not going to be much available at this time of the year for them, so that’s why they’re talking to a guy like Williams that was just released.

It’s hard to believe there isn’t a better option available on someone’s practice squad, but that’s just the reality of signing a guy in December. They may or may not sign him, but they’re going to need someone at cornerback, before they get burnt for 500+ yards again.
