LeSean McCoy doesn’t talk to media post-game

LeSean McCoy’s return to Philadelphia didn’t go his way on Sunday.

It was a homecoming for Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy that has been circled on the NFL calender since Chip Kelly traded away the running back to the Bills. On Sunday, McCoy had a rough second half and didn’t feel like talking post-game.

There’s ways to win and lose graciously and act like you’ve been there before when winning. Yet, McCoy was a sore loser on Sunday and his actions will channel the narrative by Philadelphia Eagles fans that he is a big baby.

What makes the situation even worse was he kept the media waiting for nothing. The media doesn’t mind waiting for a player to get dressed given that most of the post-game press conferences are shown in video form. Yet, he made them wait patiently and then decided to bounce.

Chip Kelly’s deal to trade McCoy seems to be a good decision so far despite the coach saying he handled the event wrong in the off-season. The Eagles picked up their second straight win of December, while McCoy heads back to Buffalo as a sore loser who refuses to speak to the media.
