The St. Louis Rams uniforms for Color Rush are rancid.

Sometimes, you just need to punt on an idea. The Rams should have done this when the National Football League told them about the Color Rush promotion for their Thursday Night Football game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but apparently they decided to be team players. Bad move.

What the hell happened? Frankly, it looks like a large zoo animal was brought out to relieve itself all over the team. Those uniforms are offensive to anybody with eyesight. Also, for people who suffer from color blindness, good luck tonight.

We understand the NFL is going to do anything it can to market a game in December between two losing teams in Week 15, but this is just outrageous. The Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills already looked like a mustard jar and a bottle of ketchup, respectively, earlier in the season. Now we have to look at the Rams, who appear to be a lemon bar with a helmet.

Please, stop the madness. This was a perfect opportunity to let these two teams were their old-school jerseys, with the Rams going Vince Ferragamo-style while the Buccaneers rocked their Bucco Bruce digs. Of course, the league doesn’t allow for a change of helmet colors, so Bucco Bruce is permanently retired.
