Odell Beckham’s holiday cleats are next level fashion

Odell Beckham Jr. was wearing some slick holiday shoes in the pregame on Sunday.

Odell Beckham Jr. was wearing some next-level footwear before Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers. Take a look at these bad rascals.

Let’s grade them out, shall we.

Color scheme: A+. Red and green, just a classic. The black laces leave a little to be desired, but they play well with the silver on the sides. You need something to help the colors pop, and the black is a nice counterpunch. Also, the pink bow on the present is a nice touch.

Originality: A+. The present atop the laces sets everything off. Did you ever have those shoelace clips as a kid? That’s what it looks like. The stars of the show, however, are the lights on the side. LA Gear ain’t got nothing on these bad boys.

Brand placement: B. Glitter swooshes are okay, but there’s more that could be done. Kinda expected there to be more than the two big ones, though.

Overall: A. Well done, Nike. Well done, OBJ. The shoe game is next level. Sock game was a little weak – all whites?! – but that might be so as not to take away from the main event.

Really, the true injustice here is that the league poo-poos individuality, meaning OBJ can’t wear these in a game without being fined.

Meanwhile Baltimore can trot out this trash …
