With the latest domino dropping in MLB Free Agency, let’s take a look at some hypothetical signings that need to happen.

Now that we know Mike Leake is off of the board, there’s one less name to swirl rumors around about and one less player for teams to court. However, there’s still quite a bit of big names left for teams to consider. There’s a couple players on this list that could potentially go almost anywhere and a couple players who only really fit on one or two teams.

One of these players signing with the right team could very well change the course of the 2016 season. Maybe the Houston Astros get the pitching they need or add to their already electric offense. The Mets certainly don’t have any pitching needs, but will have questions about their offense if they indeed do not bring back Yoenis Cespedes.

These are concerns many teams are facing right about now, and while some teams may have come out publicly and stated that they have confidence in the guys they have, every team is still in shopping mode, no matter how much they deny that to the media.

So, with the guys that are left, let’s create a list that includes where we either believe these guys will end up or where they should end up. This should be fun and exciting ride, so please strap in your safety harness and travel with me to the land of “hypotheticals.”
