St. Louis Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey has been released from the hospital after being shot twice in the head a month ago.

There has been some great news from the NFL on Wednesday, as St. Louis Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey announced that he had been released from the hospital finally.

Back in November, Bailey was shot twice in the head in a very serious gun incident, where he was then taken to the hospital to fight for his life.

Now a month later after the incident that almost took his life, Bailey took to Twitter to share the good news about his release from the hospital.

"What a great feeling it is to be home & away from the hospital. I need to put a Bow on my head and lay under the Christmas tree!"

Bailey has been all high spirits during his time in the hospital, and the fact that he is able to be released from the hospital so quickly after almost being killed, shows just how quickly his progress has been and also the great work of the medical staff that tended to him.

The outpouring of support for Bailey by his teammates and fellow players around the league showed just how much he was liked as an individual. His teammates even flew down to Florida to see how he was doing and the Rams organization has done a great job of being there for their receiver.

Now he can go home and just relax with his family during the holidays, which Bailey is truly thankful for the opportunity to be able to do.
