44.
The Atlanta Falcons aren’t a perfect team by any means, but they carry the look more of a club that is rounding into form than one who is on the decline. They started the year strong as all get out, then plummeted, and then hit an uptick at season’s end.

Matt Ryan was up-and-down, and likely needs more help on the offensive line. He also needs a tight end that can help block while also being another weapon on offense. However, those positions can be late-round fills. The Falcons need more help on defense and Dan Quinn goes to work in his own wheelhouse.

The selection of Tre’Davious White might make Atlanta fans groan – after all, how many times can the team pick a cornerback only to watch it fizzle out (such has been the case for the past few drafts). Only a junior, White has been mum on his decision about whether to return to school or not, and will likely announce in the upcoming week.

Should he come out, he is an interesting selection. He’s on the smaller side for corners, but what he lacks in height White makes up for with athleticism. He’s played against some of the game’s top receivers over the past two seasons – Amari Cooper and Laquon Treadwell to name a couple – and is battle-tested. Moreover, LSU stakes its claim as being DBU – Defensive Back University. He comes from a prodigious program, and will help shore up a secondary that must face off four times a year against Tampa Bay and New Orleans – two clubs that like to whip the ball around.
. CB. LSU. Tre'Davious White. 17. player
