There are a dozen teams taking the floor tonight in the NBA with some interesting matchups highlighted by a potential matchup of “The Brow” and “Boogie” in the Big Easy. There are some nice stars and sleepers to consider for your fantasy basketball team, so check out my FanDuel daily picks for my favorite options for this Thursday, January 28.

More from Chicago Bulls

There are two games that start of the night at 7:00 PM ET which is when FanDuel will lock in your roster for the night.  The Pacers host Atlanta in an Eastern Conference matchup while the Wizards welcome in the Nuggets who are finishing up their back-to-back after losing last night in Boston. At 8:00, the TNT double-header gets started with the Raptors and Knicks while at the same time two other games tip off as the Bucks visit Memphis and the Pelicans face the Kings. The nightcap in the TNT double-header and the final game of the day takes place in LA where the Lakers host Jimmy Butler and the Bulls.

Even with the lightest schedule of the week so far, there are plenty of fantasy basketball options to choose from tonight. To see who I’m targeting, check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides. You’ll find two slides per position–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two selections with extras thrown in where possible.  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

This month, I also have started to rank my picks using stars after each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but the short version is “more stars=more confidence.” On the final slide of the post, you can see my results for the last three weeks at each level of confidence.  Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for today’s contests.

In this post, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on our fantasy basketball hub.

I’m finishing up my own West Coast swing today and I’ll be on a red eye back to Boston tonight.  I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get on Twitter with injury updates before tip-off tonight, but I’ll do my best to update lineups if necessary.  Tomorrow I’ll be back in my normal routine and be able to stay more on top of your Twitter questions.
