Roberto Luongo proved he is still the NHL king when it comes to Twitter by trolling Jaromir Jagr over his age

Florida Panthers goaltender Roberto Luongo is well known for his sense of humor and for how he loves to make fun of his teammates over Twitter. He threw some shade at teammate and Atlantic Division captain Jaromir Jagr over his age by suggesting that he should use a Life Alert.

Jagr has repeatedly joked about his age and how being in the All-Star game might actually kill him. He first joked about how three-on-three might kill him. Once John Scott was confirmed as the Pacific Division captain, Jagr tweeted about how he thought fighting Scott would kill him.

Jagr isn’t afraid to make fun of himself so it’s likely that Roberto Luongo is just playfully teasing him as well. Luongo and Jagr will both be participating in the All-Star game on Sunday as they try to lead the Atlantic Division to victory in the three-on-three tournament. Luongo isn’t one who should be laughing too hard at his sick burn of Jagr. Luongo is currently 36 years old and turns 37 years old. Jagr will be turning 44 on February 15th, but Luongo is still pretty old, especially for a goaltender.

So far, much like his teammate Jagr, Luongo has defied age thus far. Luongo is having arguably his best season in the NHL despite being 36 years old. It’s quite impressive what Jagr and Luongo have been doing recently when one considers how old they are.
