The LSU Tigers have the No. 1 overall recruiting class in 2016 according to Scout and here are five players that the Tigers need to gain commitments from.

According to Scout, the LSU Tigers have the No. 1 overall recruiting class in the 2016 high school graduating class entering the final days before National Signing Day, Wednesday, February 3rd.

The Tigers have six players in Scout’s Top 100 and 22 commitments already in their impressive 2016 recruiting class. LSU has two five-star commitments, 15 four-star commitments, and five three-star commitments. Nine of their 22 commitments project as offensive players, 12 project as defensive players, and one is slated to play on special teams.

LSU typically has one of the better recruiting classes in the country, as head coach Les Miles is a phenomenal recruiter, as well as many former Tigers end up leaving a year early to enter the NFL Draft. This makes Miles always on his toes to find the next great Bayou Bengal on either side of the football.

The Tigers will certainly finish with one of the top three recruiting classes by the end of Wednesday’s National Signing Day. LSU will look to make a few more marquee signings within in the next couple of days. Here are five keys targets for LSU in the final days of recruitment for the 2016 class.
