Andre Drummond, who was having another double-double night, took a hard fall in the fourth quarter.

The Knicks were in town to take on the Pistons, and the first half was all Detroit. Drummond, who is leading the league in double-doubles, got another one tonight while helping the Pistons run out to an 18-point halftime lead. However, the Knicks are surging back very quickly, and this fall by Drummond may have provided the final spark to push them over the top:

Luckily, he was able to return to the game, but his style of play is tough and one that can see him get hurt easily. However, he’s been durable so far and has kept his team in a playoff spot. He’s also representing the Pistons at the All-Star Game, but that’s mostly because of the best marketing campaign of all time:

"And finally, thanks to Eminem, one last message from President Barack Obama … Comment with Andre Drummond #NBAVote and text Drummond to 69622 to vote Dre!Posted by Detroit Pistons on Friday, January 15, 2016"

Andre Drummond has deserved all the praise he’s gotten so far this season. He is truly one of the hardest working guys in the NBA.
