Stone Cold Steve Austin is still shooting down interest in ever getting back into a wrestling ring.

With WrestleMania 32 right around the corner, there are a lot of big names from the past that are expected to show up. Of course, we already know that The Rock is going to be there and there’s the possibility that we’ll see a few more in Dallas as well, including Stone Cold Steve Austin.

However, for those of you that still hold out hope that Austin will get into the ring once again at some point, well, he’s here to shoot down your hopes once again.

Austin recently made an appearance on Opie Radio, and he was not shy again about telling everyone that he will not be getting into the ring at all again to compete.

"“I’ve got no business in a wrestling ring. I had a good time doing that job. You know, the last match I had was in 2003, and it took me about three years to get it out of my system because I loved that business. That was what I wanted to do with my life, and boy, after about three years of hunting, fishing, drinking and making bad decisions, I decided that it was time to move to L.A. and start doing some work out there. I’m done. I’ve got nothing to prove.”"

People continue to hold out hope that this is something that could happen some day, but the fact of the matter is that Austin really seems to have no interest whatsoever in competing again. People will probably still say that this is a potential smokescreen for keeping his in-ring return a surprise, but as more time passes that becomes less and less likely.

Austin may still make an appearance in Dallas and with WWE overall numerous times. But you won’t be seeing him hit someone with the Stone Cold Stunner and making the pin.
