Houston Rockets guard James Harden hit Portland Trail Blazers big man Meyers Leonard with a nasty Euro-step.

The Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers faced off in a battle of two teams fighting for final spots in the playoff race in Houston on Saturday night. While the Trail Blazers jumped on the Rockets early in their contest, it was James Harden who stole the show with one heckuva highlight play.

As Harden drove the paint, he had Trail Blazers big man Meyers Leonard right in front of him. Rather than trying to get the contact and a chance at the charity stripe, Harden hit Leonard with a filthy Euro-step and went right on by him for the easy layup and two points.

Leonard tried to stand his ground and go high with his hands, but he failed to close the lane and Harden found an opening for the Euro-step to go right on by and score the two points for his team.

Just look at the way Harden goes right, then left and finally back to his right again with the shifty move. It’s not an easy move to pull off and leads to many travels on the court. Add in the obstacle of a seven-footer standing in front of him and Harden pulled it off effortlessly.
