Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson pulled off a big run during the middle of the second quarter.

The focus of Super Bowl 50 between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers has been on the quarterbacks. Cam Newton has risen to superstardom in the NFL and is entering his first Super Bowl. He also won the 2015 NFL Most Valuable Player award. Peyton Manning is likely playing in his final one, as he turns 40 years old in March and has seen his level of play decline drastically this season.

However, there are plenty of other players who can and will impact this monumental game. One of them is Broncos running back C.J. Anderson, who is making his second Super Bowl appearance. He has also become of the better running backs in the NFL.

During the second quarter, the 24-year-old had a big play for the Broncos. He broke free from the Panthers defense and darted for a 34-yard run to get his team into field goal range.

However, Manning would throw an interception a short time later to end the drive.

Going into halftime of Super Bowl 50, the Broncos are up on the Panthers 13-7. The game is close, so the level of drama will be high in the second half to see which team will come out on top. Anderson will be playing a big role in this for his team and could pull off another huge play.
