According to a report, the Philadelphia Eagles have interest in bringing back quarterback Nick Foles.

One of the big moves the Philadelphia Eagles made last season was trading Nick Foles to the Rams for quarterback Sam Bradford. Bradford wasn’t bad for Philadelphia, but he couldn’t stay healthy for the Eagles and they struggled all season.

Foles was bad for the Rams and he didn’t look anything like the quarterback that had success during his rookie season. Well, there could be a chance for Foles to resurrect things where his career began.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Eagles and new head coach Doug Pederson have interest in bringing Foles back. Foles had his best season under Pederson and it’s clear that they believe in Foles enough to bring him back.

Getting Foles back will probably be pretty easy considering the Rams couldn’t get much for him and they will be looking to go in another direction this off-season. As for Bradford, he reportedly has high contract demands, and once again, he proved that he can’t remain healthy.

So while neither quarterback really took off after the trade, it would be a good chance for both teams to wipe the slate clean and go in different directions. For Pederson, it means bringing back a quarterback that he knows he can succeed with.

Whether or not Foles could regain his old form with the Eagles remains to be seen, but it’s clear that he has a home in this league if he is in search of one soon.
