Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris understands Cam Newton being mad hearing him during his press conference.

The big story at the end of Super Bowl 50 was Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton walking out on his press conference after his team lost to the Denver Broncos. Newton was skewered by a lot of people for his behavior during the press conference and ultimately walking out.

More details came out on Monday, regarding Newton’s departure and it was clear that as he was sitting there at the press conference, he along with everyone else could audibly here Broncos cornerback Chris Harris talking at his press conference on the other side of the curtain.

Harris was loudly gloating his team’s victory and it was clear it was getting to Newton. Newton would then leave and the rest would become history.

Harris was a guest on ESPN’s NFL Live on Monday, and he said could understand why Newton was mad and left the press conference. Harris talked about with the two being interviewed so closely, no one on the wrong side of the game wants to hear the other celebrating.

At the same time, Harris mentioned that the Broncos were on the wrong end of Super Bowl XLVIII against the Seattle Seahawks and mentioned how they all had to answer the questions that had come their way.
