After months of speculation, Daniel Bryan will be announcing his retirement on WWE RAW Monday night.

Over the course of the past few months, there has been a lot of speculation as to the future of WWE star Daniel Bryan. Not being able to be medically cleared, many have wondered whether or not we will ever see him in a wrestling ring again. Well, we won’t be.

On Monday Bryan announced that he will be retiring from in-ring competition and he will address the issue Monday night on RAW.

This is devastating news for a lot of professional wrestling fans out there, especially those that have followed the career of Bryan even dating back to before he was on the WWE scene as he was making a name for himself on the indies. To think that one of the best of this generation will never get to wrestle again is disheartening to say the least.

Last year at WrestleMania, Bryan won the Intercontinental title in a ladder match, but shortly after the injury bug would hit him again. We would come to find out that he had suffered yet another concussion, and while outside doctors have cleared him to return to action numerous times, WWE doctors just couldn’t seem to give him final clearance.

Now we know that as much as we hoped he would, Bryan will not be getting that clearance.

Bryan won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 30 when he defeated both Randy Orton and Batista. Shortly after that win, he would have to vacate that title as well due to medical reasons.
