Matt Barnes trolled Derek Fisher hard on Instagram after his firing.

Derek Fisher was fired by the New York Knicks on Monday after almost two seasons with the team. Yet, Memphis Grizzlies forward Matt Barnes got the last laugh with a simple photo on Instagram.

There’s been a lot of bad blood between the two parties lately. Fisher had been hanging out with Barnes’ ex-wife, and that didn’t sit well with the NBA forward as he allegedly drove a long way to give Fisher what he deserved.

Yet, Barnes threw shade at Fisher not through his words but with a simple image that won’t get him fined or suspended like previous comments of Fisher did earlier in the year. Fisher may be seeing Barnes’ ex-wife, but Barnes got revenge in the best way possible.

Barnes still has a job in the NBA as a player. Yet, Fisher is out of a job and that will be music to Barnes’ ears as they move on from all the previous incidents between the two of them.

Fisher may have won the battle, but Barnes won the war by throwing shade at the former Knicks head coach. It’s now Fisher’s turn to troll Barnes back via social media or he can just move on from the feud between him and Barnes — which might be the best move.
