Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller will be featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated the week of February 9th

Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller led the team’s defense to an upset 24-10 victory of the Carolina Panthers. Miller had six tackles during the game to go along with 2.5 sacks of Panthers quarterback and 2015 NFL MVP Cam Newton. The stud linebacker also forced two fumbles during the game as he led a Broncos defense that shut down one of the NFL’s top offenses.

For his efforts, Miller was named the Super Bowl 50 MVP. He’ll be honored by Sports Illustrated on their weekly cover for his legendary performance.

Miller joins Chuck Howley, Ray Lewis, and Malcolm Smith as one of the four linebackers to ever be named the MVP of the Super Bowl. He’s coming off a season that saw him get 11 sacks with 35 combined tackles. Miller was also named first team All-Pro for the second time in his career. Miller was also named first team All-Pro during his second season in the league in 2012. He was named to the second team All-Pro squad in his rookie season (2011) and in 2014.

The Texas A&M product has gotten his act together after some off the field issues and should cash in big time as a free agent this offseason. Whether he stays with Denver or leaves for another team, the deal he gets will likely set records.
