North Carolina head coach Roy Williams is said to be okay after collapsing during a second-half timeout against Boston College.

There was a scary scene in college basketball on Tuesday night, when legendary North Carolina Tar Heels head coach Roy Williams collapsed during a second-half timeout against Boston College.

Williams was immediately tended to by everyone around him and the coach was helped to the back where he was checked on right away by medical personnel.

While it was certainly terrifying scene surrounding one of the greatest coaches in college basketball history, there appeared to be some good news after he collapsed.

Williams was reportedly doing okay in the locker room after the spill.

Williams grabbed his head right away as he fell to the floor and everyone knew that something was wrong with the coach.

The collapse caught everyone off guard, but through the great work of everyone that was court side and the medical personnel that was in the back, Williams was able to be tended too as soon as the collapse happened and it’s a testament to everyone that he is doing okay after the frightening scene.

The Tar Heels and Boston College were engaged in a tight battle when the incident occurred.
