With the Combine right around the corner, Mike Mayock has revealed his positional rankings for the NFL Draft.

Now that the Super Bowl has come and gone, it’s time to start looking ahead to next season. Of course, that journey really begins with the NFL Draft that will be coming up this spring. As we know, on February 23 the annual Scouting Combine will take place in Indianapolis, as some of the best talents coming out of college will be looking to boost their stock a little higher.

One of the more respected analysts out there when it comes to the talent heading into the draft is Mike Mayock of the NFL Network. He’s one of the voices at the forefront of the Combine and annually does his homework on the amazing players that are coming out of the collegiate ranks and heading into the NFL.

With the Combine right around the corner, Mayock has revealed his position-by-position rankings for the talent pool that we have.

You can view the full rankings by Mayock at this link here.

One of the positions that will really be watched this year is quarterback. Last year we knew that Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston were locks to be top picks, but this year the quarterback pool is considered very deep with really none of the prospects being “elite.” Like many others, Mayock as chosen to go outside the realm of the FBS and instead has chosen North Dakota State quarterback Carson Wentz as his No. 1 prospect at the position, with Cal’s Jared Goff coming in at No. 2.

A position that is pretty deep, however, is wide receiver, with some pretty dynamic threats coming out to play in the NFL. Again, like a lot of others, he has Ole Miss wide receiver Laquon Treadwell as his top target, with Baylor’s Corey Coleman coming in second.

There’s a lot of time between now and the NFL Draft, and this is just one of the many positional rankings lists that you will see out there before the official picks are made.
