Here are the cornerbacks that will be participating in the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.

Having an effective cornerback in the NFL can effectively shut down one side of the field for an opposing team’s offense. Every team is looking for that shutdown corner that can take on a No. 1 wide receiver every game and shadow them the entire duration on the field.

At the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, there will be several cornerbacks on hand that will try to improve their draft stock and a chance to show scouts and general managers why they are the ones that should be picked for their team.

With the scouting combine drawing near, the list of participants for the annual combine in Indianapolis has been released. Here are the cornerbacks that will be participating at the scouting combine.

There are plenty of talented cover corners that will be available in this draft. The two big names on the board are Mackensie Alexander and Jalen Ramsey. The two of them were a couple of the best shutdown corners in the nation this past year.

Both are expected to go high in the draft. However, as is the case with the scouting combine every season, some prospect will shoot up the rankings and make themselves very appealing to scouts and general managers.
