When will the Slam Dunk Contest take place during NBA All-Star Weekend?

Every season during NBA All-Star Weekend, the big event that people tune into see on All-Star Saturday Night, is the Slam Dunk Contest. The Slam Dunk Contest has produced some of the most memorable moments in NBA history and some of the dunks that have occurred during the contest will live on forever in NBA lore.

In 2015, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Zach Lavine won his first Slam Dunk Contest with some electrifying dunks and he will be back again this season to defend his title to cap off All-Star Saturday night.

While NBA All-Star Saturday has a staple of events every year, the Slam Dunk Contest is the finale to the night and will take place after the three-point contest, which will feature some of the most lethal shooters in the NBA.

For those wanting to know when the contest will start on TNT, the contest typically begins around 9:30 p.m. ET every single year. It might be the last event of the night, but the contest is well worth the wait for all basketball fans.

LaVine did a tremendous job of establishing himself as one of the best at slam dunks last year. Can he do it again this year?
