Andrew Wiggins is putting on a show in the first All-Star weekend back in his home country.

There are few NBA players that are more stoked about the fact that the NBA All-Star Game is in Canada than Andrew Wiggins. He isn’t playing in the game which is understandable considering it’s just his second year, but they could’ve at least thrown him in the Dunk Contest to play into the crowd.

Nonetheless, he at least made it onto the Rising Stars Challenge as part of Team World, and since it’s the only event he’s participating in, he’s looking to make the most of his opportunity as seen from this outstanding dunk:

Wiggins took home the MVP award in last year’s Rising Stars Challenge, and will look to do so again this year. There’s no question that the fans love him and consider him to be the true first overall pick from Canada as Anthony Bennett continues to fade into irrelevance.

Wiggins is making the Minnesota Timberwolves a fun team to watch despite owning one of the worst records in the league but the outstanding play of him and Karl-Anthony Towns makes fans optimistic about a bright future and that they will develop into true stars.
