Before he leads his team on Friday night, Drake received the key to the city of Toronto.

Friday night the NBA All-Star Weekend will be getting kicked off, and to get things started we will be treated to the 2016 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. This game will feature Drake leading a team against that of Kevin Hart, and before the game will be getting underway on Friday, the famous rapper from Canada was honored.

Prior to the festivities getting started on Friday night, the Canadian was honored in maybe the best way possible. Drake was given the key to the city of Toronto by Mayor John Tory.

Not a bad deal for one of the most famous Canadians living today and the avid Raptors fan. It’s certainly going to be one of the highlights of not only this entire weekend in his city, but in his career as well.

However, Hart didn’t seem all that amused with his opponent receiving the honor, as he noted that the key doesn’t actually open anything anyway.

So, that being the case, the trash talking for the celebrity game has already started before the two teams even take the floor on Friday night.
