The 2016 Sprint Cup Series schedule is about to get underway, and a printable version is available below.

The 2016 NASCAR season is about to begin. Daytona 500 will cap off the racing held at the track with the Sprint Unlimited and the Can-Am Duels giving NASCAR fans a taste of what they can expect to see throughout the race season before the main event. Historically, Daytona is the first big race of the season, which kicks race fans and drivers into their top gear as the passion kicks in.

After Daytona is over, the drivers are continually focused on winning the most races and earning as many points as they can for the Chase later in the year. The points are very important as the season comes to an end and the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup is finalized on September 10 at Richmond.

Those who made the select field, will compete in a 10-race competition just like they did in 2015. There will be elimination races at Dover (Oct. 2), Talladega (Oct. 23), and Phoenix (Nov. 13) before a winner is crowned from the four-car field that will race at Homestead-Miami on Nov. 20.

With Jeff Gordon now in the broadcast booth and Tony Stewart out indefinitely after suffering an injury in a off the course car crash, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will feel different for those tuning into the coverage on both FOX and NBC. This season’s broadcast schedule will be solely on FOX and NBC network channels after Turner Broadcasting’s rights to some of the races ended after last season.
