Zach LaVine just outdid himself by doing a windmill from the free throw line in the Slam Dunk Contest.

Is Zach LaVine the best dunk contest competitor since Vince Carter? The answer to that from last year and this year has been a resounding yes. In front of the fans that used to watch Carter compete regularly, they have been blown away by what LaVine has done so far and yet somehow he was able to save his best for the final round.

After Aaron Gordon set the tone by dunking over the Magic mascot on a hoverboard, Zach LaVine performed a dunk from the free throw line… while doing a windmill:

Doing just one of those things is tough enough and the fact that he did both at the same time is just ridiculous. If it was anybody else, they probably wouldn’t have stood a chance against what Aaron Gordon had to offer but LaVine just proved why he is the king of the Dunk Contest.

When all was said and done LaVine, like Drake, and Nate Robinson, went back to back. And to anybody who called the dunk contest over after Vince Carter, this was resounding proof that those people are wrong.
