No. 23 USC Trojans vs No. 17 Arizona Wildcats
Following a three-game win streak with consecutive double-digit victories at home, the USC Trojans hit the road Friday to take on Arizona State, and lost. The Sun Devils took care of the Trojans, which might ultimately lead to USC’s omission from the next Top 25 rankings — that is, unless the Trojans can get a huge road win against Arizona.

The Trojans have one of the top offensive teams in the nation, averaging over 83 points per game — good for 14th in college basketball. That is led by a very evenly-disctributed scoring attack by Nikola Jovanovic, Jordan McLaughlin, Julian Jacobs, Katin Reinhardt, Bennie Boatwright and Elijah Stewart. This team has no problem on offense.
On the other hand, the Arizona Wildcats are coming off their fourth straight win and are playing some of their best basketball in weeks. With a win, the Wildcats would move one step closer to a Pac-12 title and are just 0.5 games out of first place in the conference. Despite having just an 8-4 record in conference play, the Wildcats are the likely most talented.
Ryan Anderson has been leading the offense to this point in the year, averaging 16 points and 10.5 rebounds per game while making 58 percent of his baskets. Freshman guard Allonzo Trier is finally back from his injury and he could make this team completely different, in a good way. He’s averaging 14.5 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
